What we collect

Search. When you search a city, postal code, or use your browser location, we convert that into coordinates (via OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service) and use them to query Ticketmaster and SeatGeek and to look up nearby self-uploaded events. Search results are cached briefly to keep the site fast; the cache isn't tied to your identity.

Accounts. If you create a venue or band profile, we store your email and authentication details through our authentication provider (Supabase), plus whatever you enter for your profile and events — venue/band name, location, calendar links, and show details. Profile and event details are public by design; that's how fans find you.

Fan alerts. If you subscribe to be notified about a band or venue, we store the email and location you provide for that purpose.

Basic analytics. We log aggregate view counts for profile pages and embedded widgets, visible to the venue/band owner on their dashboard.

Third parties

We share the minimum data needed to make the site work with: Ticketmaster and SeatGeek (search queries, to return event results), Impact.com (tracks outbound ticket-link clicks for affiliate commissions), Google (if you sign in with Google), Cloudflare (bot protection on signup/login), and OpenStreetMap Nominatim (geocoding). We don't sell your data.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your choices

You can edit or delete your venue/band profile and events at any time from your dashboard. To delete your account entirely or request a copy of your data, contact us at the address on our Contact page.

Children

LocalStage isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site changes. We'll update the date above when we do.
